  • Gabrielle Thompson, FNP-C

    Gabrielle Thompson, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner at GT Healthcare in Laguna Beach, California. At the practice, she provides patients of all ages with compassionate and result driven care.

    Gabrielle completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. She then completed her master’s degree in Nursing at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts.

    Throughout her multiple years of experience, she has worked in acute care, primary care, ambulatory care settings, and mental health. As a nurse practitioner, Gabrielle has remained dedicated to helping the community with a concentration on mental health.

    Gabrielle became a nurse practitioner because she wanted to help improve the quality of healthcare. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and a local San Diego chapter member of The California Association of Nurse Practitioners (CANP).

  • Corinne Hardsity, LMFT

    Corinne Hardisty is a highly experienced and compassionate Marriage and Family Therapist, with over a decade of dedication to helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of severe and chronic mental illness. Her extensive experience within Los Angeles County division and reentry programs has equipped her with a unique understanding and skill set to assist her clients.

    With a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego and a graduate degree from the University of San Diego, Corrine has a solid educational foundation that supports her work. Over the past three years, she has shifted her focus to clinical supervision and professional development, guiding and mentoring newly practicing therapists in the field.

    When she's not helping her clients, Corinne enjoys indulging in her passion for writing and spends her free time crafting beautiful short stories. She also loves to hit the trails and explore nature with her husband, making the most of every moment.

  • Macayla Meyers, AMFT

    Macayla Meyers is an experienced therapist who specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families dealing with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, gender dysphoria, substance use disorders, and schizophrenia. Macayla is passionate about helping families rebuild strained relationships and improve communication. She uses a person-centered approach to therapy, which recognizes that each client has unique needs and requires tailored care. By providing a safe and supportive space, Macayla creates a trusting therapeutic relationship that enables clients to feel heard, understood, and validated.

    As a member of the LGBTQ+ community with lived experience, Macayla is committed to providing compassionate and affirming care to this population. She understands the unique challenges and experiences that LGBTQ+ individuals face and is dedicated to helping them navigate these issues with empathy and support.

    Macayla's treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients manage negative thinking patterns, and Structural Family Therapy, which uses family interactions and patterns to address concerns or past experiences. She also integrates various techniques such as mindfulness and solution-focused therapy in her approach to help clients achieve their goals.

    Macayla values the importance of taking a holistic approach to mental health. She considers biological, psychological, and social factors and their complex interactions in understanding overall mental and physical health. Macayla believes in promoting positive self-worth, reducing daily experiences of anxiety and worry, and increasing one's enjoyment of life.

  • Marissa Pereida, AMFT

    Marissa Pereida is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist from Northern California. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of San Francisco and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the Dominican University of California.

    Marissa enjoys traveling internationally and participating in medical missions to provide medical care in places that include Kenya and Cambodia. Traveling internationally has increased her desire to serve and guide people through the challenges and adversities they face.

    Marissa is part of the Native American community and has experience working in a variety of settings including substance recovery. She values integrating cultural and spiritual practices into the path of healing and recovery.

    Marissa has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families of various backgrounds who have faced life challenges that include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life stressors, trauma, substance use disorders, grief and loss, and more. Marissa is empathetic, honest, and compassionate and values the relationship of those she works with. She values the strength and resilience within each individual.

    Her passion is to help individuals find healing and guide them through their life’s challenges and mental health struggles with the use of healthy strategies and coping skills. She hopes to see individuals and families overcome barriers and access care in order to improve their overall well-being.

    Marissa’s favorite approaches include trauma-informed, person-centered, strength-based with the use of CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and systems approach. In her free time, Marissa enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs. She also enjoys being outdoors, gardening, going on long walks, reading, and traveling.

  • Irina Sherbak, RD, RDN

    Irina is a Registered Dietitian with over five years of experience in the clinical, community, and eating disorders fields. She is passionate about helping individuals build healthy relationships with food, cultivate body positivity, and embrace intuitive eating practices. Irina earned her Bachelor’s degree from Tel Aviv University and further advanced her knowledge through a comprehensive dietetic internship program at Utah State University focusing on evidence-based practices and a deep understanding of the complex interplay between nutrition, psychology, and mental well-being.

    She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community health centers, and private practice, where she tailored nutrition interventions to support individuals in their recovery journeys. Irina’s involvement in community nutrition programs has given her the privilege to empower groups with the knowledge and skills to make informed, positive dietary choices. At the heart of Irina’s practice is a commitment to fostering a body-positive and compassionate approach to nutrition and wellness. She firmly believes that every person's journey is unique, and her philosophy centers on intuitive eating—a practice that encourages individuals to listen to their bodies, honor their hunger and fullness cues, and develop a more harmonious relationship with food. Irina is dedicated to helping clients to embrace their bodies, working towards a healthier self-image and overall well-being.
